LOOK || 4TH TRAINING DAY

Saint Mary’s University Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (SMU ROTC) Unit successfully conducted its 4th Training Day today, 05 September 2026.

The morning commenced at 0700H with the cadets gathering for formation, followed by a thorough check of attendance and an inspection of their proper military bearing.

The training immediately proceeded with practical drills, where cadets taught the basic ex*****on facing movements and marching commands. Following the field exercises, the cadets transitioned to classroom instruction. MSg Val Menardo D Basilio PA(Res) delivered an insightful lecture on Philippine Military History, followed by a brief break. After which, it was resumed with Cpl Jessie P Pasamonte PA(Res) leading a session on Military Organization to deepen the cadets' understanding of command structures.

The day concluded with a final formation for attendance verification and additional drill practice, focusing on facing movements. Under the active guidance and supervision of the SMU ROTC Training Staff, GMA Officers, and the Corps of Cadet Officers, the 4th Training Day ran seamlessly, further instilling military discipline, drill precision, and essential knowledge to the cadets.
