𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝗮, 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲-𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗱𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀!

The University of the Philippines Los Baños Quality Assurance Office (UPLB QAO), Center for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning (CATL), and Graduate School (GS) conducted the Outcomes-Based Education (OBE) and Curriculum Workshop for Graduate Programs on 12 and 19 October 2026.

The two-day workshop featured sessions and hands-on activities on curriculum mapping, stakeholder analysis, assessment of Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs), and curriculum enhancement. Participants also presented proposed improvements to their respective graduate programs.

Through this initiative, UPLB reaffirms its commitment to developing relevant, outcomes-driven, and future-ready graduate programs that respond to evolving societal needs.

Quality assurance is a continuous journey of learning, improving, and finding better ways to do things. Through the exchange of experiences, practices, and ideas, we gain perspectives that can help us strengthen our own systems.

The UPLB Quality Assurance Office recently conducted a benchmarking visit with the UP Diliman Quality Assurance Office (UPD QAO) to learn more about its organizational structure, roles and functions, processes, and coordination mechanisms in implementing quality assurance initiatives.

The visit provided an opportunity for meaningful discussions and sharing of practices, with the insights gained serving as a valuable reference as UPLB QAO continues to refine its structure and strengthen its quality assurance processes.

Since joining QAO as a 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 (𝗝𝗢𝗔) in 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟮, Seah has been a vital part of our team and behind many of our major milestones. From driving data collection for the THE Impact Rankings to supporting AUN-QA programme and institutional assessments, producing media, and creating content across our platforms, her contributions have been essential to our office initiatives.

Her transition to ADAS II marks an exciting new chapter in her professional growth. In her new role, Seah will take on expanded responsibilities overseeing procurement processes and social media management. 📈
