Last weekend was really special! Thank you to everyone who joined us at the Hopkins Bloomberg Center for Peabody’s American Music Festival, three days celebrating the sounds that shaped our nation.

From the Peabody Jazz Ensemble’s tribute to 100 years of Coltrane, to the Baltimore Jazz Collective, to a high-energy Hip Hop faculty set with Rah Digga, Lupe Fiasco, DJ Babu and more, to the Peabody Chamber Orchestra’s Rhapsody in Blue with Christian Sands, it was a weekend to remember.

Huge thanks to our incredible faculty, students, guest artists, and to the Johns Hopkins University Office of the Arts and the Nexus Awards for helping make it happen. 💙

Some favorite moments from last year's Peabody Concert Orchestra, as we look ahead to this Friday's concert.

PCO returns to the stage with a program spanning two continents: Gershwin's An American in Paris and Dvořák's Symphony No. 9, "From the New World." Faculty artist Joseph Young conducts.

This Friday, Sept 25 at 7:30 pm in the Miriam A. Friedberg Concert Hall. Free, but seats go fast, so come early. Can't join us in Baltimore? Watch live via the link below.
