It was a great opportunity to share the creative work happening across campus, discuss new co-op pilot programs, visit the MassArt Art Museum, and connect with faculty, staff, and students. MassArt’s 2026 Fashion Show, FOR THE PUBLIC, is this Saturday, May 16!

Featuring senior Fashion Design thesis collections, this high-energy show at the MassArt Design and Media Center brings together bold ideas, personal expression, and the full spectrum of student creativity. Today's collection preview is by MassArt senior Nico Henriquez, titled “prod me”.

“I was never that into fashion growing up. In a way, that still stands. The more I open up to it, the more complex that relationship becomes,” says Henriquez. “Today, my main mission with sewing has been to create wearable fashion while working with materials that may have otherwise been discarded or forgotten. This is where the art of fashion has guided me.”
