Weekly Wrap Up:
It's been an incredibly busy week in the Buffalo State Music Department, with many more songs to go before we sleep!
Last Friday, Dr. Bewlay presented the 24 Italian Songs and Arias in a solo song cycle. On Sunday, the EHJ foundation presented a concert for World Opera Day! At that concert, Brooke Hunter and Kirsten Groats were presented with scholarships from the organization. Vocalists are also participating in auditions for the National Association of Teachers of Singing! Lily Mager, Brodey Herko, and Kirsten Groats have advanced to the next round of the competition!
On the instrumental side of the house, the upperclassmen instrumental students participated in their first Collegium of the semester, Anabella Previte and Trever LeFevre presented their Senior recitals (BRAVO!) and the Percussion Ensemble had their Fall concert.
