Last week, our MSA students and faculty came together to celebrate and thank one of our wonderful instructors, Nicole, as she prepares to leave the program and begin an exciting new chapter at Children’s! 💙

We are so grateful for the time, knowledge, and dedication she has shared with our students and we wish her all the best in this next adventure. Thank you for the lasting impact you’ve made on all the students who have trained under your guidance. We are looking forward to seeing you again during the advanced year pediatric rotation! 🩺✨

Last week, faculty and second year students had the honor of welcoming the newest members of our program, the MSA Class of 2028!

Our newest students officially received their white coats, marking the beginning of an exciting journey toward becoming Certified Anesthesiologist Assistants. 🩺✨

We are so excited to watch this class learn, grow, and make their mark on the profession. Congratulations, Class of 2028. We can’t wait to see all that you accomplish! 🎉

The MSA Class of 2027 officially kicked off their ultrasound course today!

Students got hands-on experience by practicing their scanning techniques and identifying vasculature on one another. There’s no better way to learn than by doing, and this is just the beginning of their ultrasound journey!

This weekend, our class of 2027 students spent a wonderful Wisconsin afternoon at Grant Park helping pick up trash, keeping our local green spaces clean for others to enjoy!

After volunteering, everyone gathered for a grill out, enjoying good food, great conversation, and time together outside of the classroom. 🌭 ♻️ 🌎

Today, the Class of 2027 welcomed Dr. Connelly as the first guest lecturer of the semester! She shared her knowledge on ASA practice guidelines and their relation to safe anesthetic practice, providing students with valuable insight into the foundations and continued advancement of the profession.

We are incredibly grateful for Dr. Connelly’s time, dedication, and commitment to educating future practitioners. Thank you for investing in the next generation of anesthesia providers and for helping shape our students’ understanding of the importance of evidence based practice.
