On this Memorial Day, we reflect with gratitude on the courage, selflessness, and dedication of those who gave their lives to protect the freedoms we enjoy each day. We also extend our deepest appreciation to the military families and loved ones who carry their legacies forward.

We were privileged to host the Council on Substance Abuse, who delivered an informative and impactful presentation highlighting the vital services available to veterans and their families across Montgomery, AL, and surrounding counties.

Thank you to our partners for supporting our military community and helping us ensure our heroes have access to the care and resources they deserve.

💙 + a perfect way to close out Nurses Week 🩺

Meet Princess Nesmith, a 2025 Bachelor of Science in Nursing graduate from South University, Columbia, whose journey into nursing began as a little girl dressing up in her grandmother’s nursing cape and hat.

After working in nursing-related roles since 1992, Princess returned to school to pursue her BSN and achieve a lifelong dream. She shares how South University helped prepare her not only clinically, but professionally, for the next chapter of her career, and she’s not done yet! 👏 Princess plans to continue her journey by returning to South to pursue her Master’s degree.

Her story is a powerful reminder that it’s never too late to pursue your purpose!
