Columbia students joined Jessica Chen, Emmy Award-winning former journalist, CEO of Soulcast Media, and author of Smart, Not Loud, for an interactive workshop on influence, impact, and connection in the age of AI.
Through Jessica’s ACCT Framework, students explored how to speak with impact, communicate their accomplishments, ask for opportunities, and set boundaries. The session reinforced the importance of keeping human connection at the heart of our work. 🤝

Columbia’s M.S. in Strategic Communication students recently visited Kargo’s NYC headquarters to explore where creativity, media, data, and AI meet.
Through conversations with Kargo’s leadership team, students learned about the evolving ad tech landscape, explored career paths, and heard firsthand career advice and lessons from industry leaders.

As Communications Manager at Columbia Law School and Vice President of Communication for the Latin American Student Club of Columbia University SPS, Mario brings a passion for storytelling and community building. His Master of Music in Classical Voice from Manhattan School of Music continues to shape his approach to creativity and connecting with audiences.
As Program Representative, Mario looks forward to advocating for his peers, strengthening our Strat Comm community, and helping students feel heard. 💙
