The Strategic Communication program launched its first-ever Global Fieldwork course this August with a trip to Rio de Janeiro. Led by Dr. Kristine Billmyer, students gained first-hand knowledge of the Brazilian media landscape and political system, exploring how two-way communication plays a critical role in community resilience. The course was hosted by the Fundação Getulio Vargas, a leading Brazilian university.
