๐ŸŒŸ Big shoutout to Sabrina for presenting her poster on infant memory!
The big takeaway? Frequent daily naps seem to play a key role in helping babies connect items and details in their memory (relational memory)โ€”even more than total hours slept!
Having more kids in the home also showed a positive boost.
So proud of Sabrinaโ€™s amazing work!

๐Ÿƒโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿง  Moving for Two?

Research suggests that physical activity during pregnancy may support aspects of your babyโ€™s brain development. But every pregnancy is different. ๐Ÿ’›

For those who are able to exercise, movement can be one way to support a healthy pregnancy. And for moms who are unable to exercise because of health conditions, you are not doing anything wrong. Your health and your babyโ€™s well-being come first. ๐Ÿค

There is no one โ€œrightโ€ way to experience pregnancyโ€”and every pregnancy deserves support, understanding, and care. ๐ŸŒฑ

โธป

๐Ÿƒโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿง  ยฟ

๐Ÿค

๐ŸŒฑ

07/31/2026

Today marks the last day of BIPOC Mental Health Awareness Month, but conversations about mental health shouldnโ€™t end here.

Mental health is an essential part of overall well-being, yet many Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) continue to face barriers to accessing culturally responsive care and support. By raising awareness, reducing stigma, and amplifying diverse voices, we can help create communities where everyone feels seen, heard, and supported.

Letโ€™s continue learning, listening, and advocatingโ€”not just this month, but every day.

๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿปโ€๐Ÿ’ป During this workshop, our Research Assistants learned more about REDCap, the secure platform we use to collect, manage, and store our research data. Strengthening these skills helps us maintain high-quality, organized, and reliable data throughout our studies.
