Located in the heart of Manhattan near many of the world's major museums, galleries, and stages, Hunter College is uniquely positioned to connect students with the arts both on and off campus. Programs featuring visiting artists and speakers provide frequent opportunities to meet leading artists, writers, performers, and other arts professionals, while student-run publications, clubs, and ensembles provide forums for showcasing students' creative work. In addition, Hunter's partnerships with New York's cultural institutions provide special access to performances, exhibitions, internships and other events throughout the city.
