Guest Speakers: Miranda Austin & Samantha Landschoot

Miranda Austin, an in-school SLP at Wilson Elementary, and her SLPA, Samantha Landschoot, are going to present for us on social skills groups and play-based therapy!

They also have some videos prepared to show us and will be sharing a little about both of their personal professional journeys. We’re so excited to have both Miranda, an SLP, AND Samantha, her SLPA, presenting together!

It will be such an interesting opportunity to hear from both perspectives, learn more about social skills groups and play-based therapy, and see some of their work in action.

We can’t wait to see you there! 🫶

In honor of International Stuttering Awareness Day, National Stuttering Association Chapter Leaders will be guest speaking with us to spread awareness on the importance of advocating for the stuttering community and how it impacts communication.

They will be speaking from the point of the view of the patient who stutters and the parent of a child who stutters to create a holistic view of the stuttering community.

This is a great way to learn more about the diverse stuttering community and how you can become a future advocate as clinician!
