We had an incredible time at our SAC volleyball and picnic! From competitive rallies to good food and plenty of laughs, it was a wonderful opportunity to come together as a community. Thank you to everyone who joined us! We’re already looking forward to the next SAC event!

From big questions to bold ideas, our students’ thesis research keeps raising the bar! ⚡️

MSMP second year students delivered their thesis proposal presentations to the Radiation Oncology Physics Division! Day 1 presentations included topics on SFRT planning and dose-reporting methods, novel treatment planning software, proton arc therapy planning, impact of proton planning uncertainties, and a machine-specific delivery sequence model for proton arc therapy. Day 2 presentations included topics on FLASH radiation therapy, mapping treatment planning system dose calculation errors, deep learning guided modeling, AI based dose prediction, development of a SFRT platform for small animal irradiation, and a comparative dosimetric analysis for proton therapy.

We look forward to seeing these promising research endeavors progress in the months ahead! ✨🔬💻☢️
