On a stroll around campus, you might spot several pollinator gardens managed by the Villanova Grounds Crew in collaboration with the College’s Center for Biodiversity and Ecosystem Stewardship (CBEST). This week, Radnor Township’s Environmental Advisory Council presented the University with the Eco-Friendly Yard Award in recognition of their work in extensively planting native trees, shrubs and perennials around campus while following environmentally friendly care and maintenance practices. Villanova Theatre presents "The Moors", opening in the Court Theatre of the Mullen Center on Thursday, October 1.

Set against the windswept isolation of the English moors, a governess arrives expecting a conventional post but soon discovers unwritten rules, shifting alliances and very real danger. Steeped in Victorian atmosphere, The Moors is part Brontë-inspired gothic romance, part twisted comedy and part mystery.

Written by Jen Silverman, directed by Edward Sobel and presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals on behalf of Samuel French, Inc., "The Moors" runs through Sunday, October 4.
