We’re excited to announce that Dr. Daniel Chen has been named chair of the Department of Information Systems and Business Analytics at the Hankamer School of Business.

Dr. Chen holds the Mr. and Mrs. Randall W. Ferguson (Sandra) Professorship of Information Systems. A respected scholar in information systems, Dr. Chen’s work aligns closely with the growing influence of AI and data analytics across industries. His leadership comes at a pivotal time as HSB continues to invest in these areas through teaching, research and industry engagement.

We’re grateful for the leadership of Dr. Jonathan Trower, who served as chair for more than a decade and helped guide the department’s growth.
