We honor those we lost, those who served, and the courage and compassion shown in the days that followed. As time moves forward, may we continue to share their stories and pass their memory on to future generations, so they too understand the importance of remembrance, compassion, and unity.

🚨 Think **ng or ni****ne pouches are harmless because there’s no smoke? Think again.

Vapes and oral ni****ne products, such as ni****ne pouches, can deliver high levels of addictive ni****ne. Va**ng can expose the lungs to harmful chemicals and metals, while oral ni****ne products can cause problems with the mouth and gums.
For teens, ****ne is especially concerning because the brain is still developing. Ni****ne can affect attention, learning, and impulse control—and addiction can develop quickly.

Today, Purdue HHS Extension was proud to participate in “Mental Health Matters Day.” Thank you to our Educator, Angela Sorg, for helping share important information, resources, and reminders that caring for our mental health is an important part of overall well-being.

Mental health does matter. Taking care of your mental well-being is just as important as taking care of your physical health. Make time for yourself, check in with others, and remember that it’s okay to ask for help. 💚
