MASSWORK

The College of Human Ecology came together for a meaningful clean-up activity, where students worked hand in hand to keep the surroundings clean, safe, and organized. The activity showed the importance of teamwork and shared responsibility in caring for our community.

Through MASSWORK, the CHEmmunity continues to promote unity, service, and care for the environment. Every effort, no matter how simple, can contribute to creating a cleaner and better community.

CHE Showcases Student Organization Accomplishments During University Flag-Raising Ceremony

The College of Human Ecology (CHE), in partnership with the College of Teacher Education (CTE), jointly sponsored the university’s flag-raising ceremony on October 26, 2026, at Nueva Vizcaya State University (NVSU). The ceremony served as an opportunity to reaffirm patriotism, unity, and public service while recognizing the accomplishments of the university’s student organizations.

A significant highlight of the ceremony was the presentation of the accomplishments of the College of Human Ecology student organizations by Governor Simon Tangalin, who showcased their initiatives, activities, and contributions to student development and the college community. The presentation underscored the active participation of CHE student organizations in promoting leadership, collaboration, and meaningful engagement within the university.

Meanwhile, Dr. Rhea Adriatico, Dean of the College of Human Ecology, delivered an inspirational message encouraging the university community to begin the week with renewed motivation, a positive mindset, and a strong commitment to excellence. She emphasized the importance of dedication, discipline, and responsibility in fulfilling individual roles and contributing to the collective goals of the university.

Adding inspiration to the occasion, Dr. Wilfredo A. Dumale Jr., University President, shared his message with the university community, reinforcing the importance of unity, commitment, and excellence in advancing the institution’s mission and vision.

The joint sponsorship of CHE and CTE highlighted the value of collaboration among academic units in fostering a strong sense of community and shared responsibility. Beyond its ceremonial purpose, the activity provided a platform to recognize student achievements, inspire the university workforce and learners, and strengthen the collective commitment to quality education and service.

As the NVSU community begins another week, the ceremony serves as a reminder that excellence is achieved through consistent effort, collaborative leadership, and a shared dedication to the university’s vision and goals.

MASS WORK 2026 | SECTION DESIGNATIONS

Please be guided by the designated assignments for each section for our upcoming Mass Work on October 26, 2026 (Monday).

Please be reminded that attendance checking will be conducted strictly from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, so everyone is expected to arrive on time.

The Mass Work proper will begin at 1:00 PM and end at 5:00 PM.

Everyone is also reminded to bring their own drinking water to stay hydrated throughout the activity, as well as an extra set of clothes in case they need to change afterward.
Let us all cooperate, fulfill our respective responsibilities, and work together to keep our College clean and organized.
Your punctuality and participation are highly appreciated.

“Culture, Sustainability and Human Ecology: From Culture to Creativity—Reimagining Indigenous Identity through Human Ecology.”

The official delegation from Nueva Vizcaya State University – Bayombong Campus participated in the PAPSAS 2026 Midyear Interactive Youth Forum, conducted from October 7–9, 2026, at Grand Mengseng Hotel, Davao City. Representing the university were Simone Ray Tangalin, Governor of the College of Human Ecology Student Council (CHE-SC); Kevin Arthur Bautista, Governor of the College of Engineering Student Council (COE-SC); and Julius Lorida, Governor of the College of Arts and Sciences Student Council (CAS-SC). The delegation was accompanied and guided by Sir Kenn Querido, Student Organization Head, and Sir Jerwin Memita, SAS Coordinator. Over the course of this three-day gathering, the delegates engaged in constructive dialogue, knowledge sharing, and collaborative planning with fellow student leaders and institutional representatives from various regions. The forum served as a vital platform for enhancing leadership competencies, strengthening inter-campus cooperation, and aligning student initiatives with broader standards of excellence in student affairs. The insights and experiences gained from this event will undoubtedly contribute to the continued advancement of student welfare and governance within the university community.
