💚 𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐋𝐃 𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐀𝐋 𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐋𝐓𝐇 𝐃𝐀𝐘 | 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 🫂

Yesterday may have been World Mental Health Day, but caring for our mental health should never be limited to just one date on the calendar.

As students, we face countless deadlines, examinations, laboratory activities, sleepless nights, and expectations that sometimes become too heavy to carry. In the middle of all these responsibilities, we often remind ourselves to finish one more task, study one more chapter, or push through one more exhausting day. But how often do we stop and ask ourselves, “Am I really okay?”

We celebrate our achievements, meet our deadlines, and keep moving forward, but we must also remember that we are more than our productivity, grades, and accomplishments. Rest is not a waste of time, asking for help is not a weakness, and taking a step back does not mean we are falling behind.

Even on ordinary days, when there is no special occasion reminding us to care, our well-being still matters. Check in with yourself, give yourself room to breathe, reach out to someone you trust, and allow yourself to rest when you need it. You do not have to wait until everything feels overwhelming before you prioritize yourself.

As future engineers, we learn to build strong foundations. Let us remember to build one for ourselves, too, by giving our minds the same care and attention we give to our responsibilities.

The results are in, and we proudly celebrate our 𝗖𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗹 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗱𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 who successfully passed the 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗖𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗹 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗟𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗘𝘅𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻!

With a 𝟯𝟳.𝟭𝟰% 𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲, our examinees achieved a 𝟱𝟰.𝟱𝟱% 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲, including an outstanding 𝟵𝟭.𝟲𝟳% 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁-𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲.

Behind every percentage is a story of preparation, perseverance, and hard work. These results reflect the dedication of our examinees as they took on one of the biggest milestones in their professional journey.

Bringing civil engineering beyond the classroom, the summit offered opportunities for learning, discovery, and connection through its lineup of exhibits, laboratory tours, career activities, technical discussions, and competitions. The gathering highlighted the profession’s role in building resilient communities and advancing ethical, accountable, and sustainable development.

For our MSU-IIT delegates, participating in this national gathering was an opportunity to explore the wider field of civil engineering, gain fresh perspectives, and connect with students and professionals who share their passion for building a better future.
