From Master of Fashion Industry Studies grad to CMO: Meet Siera Santos Terry ⚡️

From a young age, Siera Santos Terry had an entrepreneurial mindset, starting her first business Things by CiCi at age eleven. During her time in college studying in the School of Fashion's Master of Fashion Industry Studies Program, Terry was able to raise $5,000 in funding for her headbands brand, "Bougie Bands," attributing this success in part to valuable connections and branding principles gained from Kent State.

The Kent State Annual Fashion Show Gala brought together bold ideas, fearless creativity and community. From powerful words to a runway full of vision, innovation and serious talent, this was more than a fashion show. It was a statement to the future of fashion.

Meet Adelynn Prushing, originally from Richmond, Texas, a Kent State senior fashion design major, graduating this upcoming May 2026. Adelynn is a very active student on campus and is a member of Kent State’s Chapter of Alpha Lambda Delta and the Fashion Student Organization (FSO), as well as an officer for the Identity Project. Additionally, Adelynn is finishing up her Senior Honors Thesis/Project this semester on how to incorporate sustainability in fashion. Adelynn also has a website called the Knit Nerd that showcases her work and ideas.
