We closed out the academic year by taking a group of Loyola Marymount University transfer and first-generation students across Los Angeles for a Day Trek focused on career exploration in the nonprofit, communications, and entertainment industries.

Students visited Step Up, LAist, and Universal Music Group, where they connected with various professionals including LMU alumni to learn about career paths, in-demand skills, workplace culture, and opportunities within these fields. Experiences like these help students build confidence, expand their networks, and connect what they are learning in the classroom to meaningful future careers.

We are proud of these Lions for investing in their future and taking full advantage of opportunities beyond campus.
