Dunwoody College of Technology provides students with a rigorous, quality technical education. Located on the western edge of downtown Minneapolis, Dunwoody offers two-year Associates degrees, four-year Bachelor’s degrees and a variety of certificates in fields like: Architecture, Interior Design, Electrical Mechanical and Software Engineering, Auto and Construction. Online Bachelor completion degrees offered in Architecture and Construction Management. Our 15-acre campus includes classrooms, studios, shops and laboratories furnished with industry-standard software, equipment and materials so students are prepared for Day One of their career. Here at Dunwoody, both theory and real-world skills are taught—a combination much sought after in today’s industry. With a student to faculty ratio of 9:1, students can expect to receive a very personalized, hands-on technical education.

Students in Advanced Solidworks created their own unique spinning tops. Each custom spinning top incorporates ball bearings, hex nuts, and Allen head bolts in their design. Students took inspiration from objects in video games, nature, sea life, etc. and were thrilled with their finished products.

In collaboration with Minneapolis Downtown Council, the Downtown Improvement District, and Zero Empty Spaces, students in the School of Design researched Nicollet’s history and designed concepts to revitalize and bring Nicollet Mall to life, with a focus on building community. Their designs and concepts are featured in an exhibition at Zero Empty Spaces.

Dunwoody Student Artist Panel takes place on Tuesday, October 27 from 4-6 pm. Check out their exhibition at 815 Nicollet Ave.

A closer look at the organizer cart project that was repurposed and customized for our Esports room by two of our Engineering Drafting & Design students. Lot of consideration was put into this project and we are loving the end project!

Second year Engineering Drafting & Design students presented their first projects. For these projects, students worked in partners to identify an existing design flaw. They researched options to better manage their issue and then created a viable mechanism to solve the flaw they've identified.

Students came up with such creative and innovative designs. They learned how to apply their technical skills with resourcefulness and project management planning.

A new Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering in the School of Engineering at Dunwoody College of Technology will launch in Fall 2027. As the demand for civil engineers grows, Dunwoody's signature hands-on approach to learning will prepare graduates for their careers. Fall career fair ✔️

Over the past two days, students had the ppportunity to network with employers and learn about new opportunities in their industry. We are incredibly thankful to the employers who showed up to talk with our students and to the sponsors who partnered with us. We are grateful for such an incredible turnout!
