Professor Ott teaches a class where students get to dig into ancient texts, such as the Malleus Maleficarum (or Hammer of Witches), to find what historical societies found frightful!

Transferring from a community college to a four-year university means starting over, often with a bigger campus and a lot of unanswered questions.

ACCE, short for Access, Complete, Connect and Engage, pairs transfer students from Clackamas, Mt. Hood and Portland Community College with a dedicated coach who helps with credit transfers, financial aid and campus resources.

The program is expanding to Chemeketa Community College and adding career advising.

We spoke with three students about what that support has meant for their first terms at PSU.

On Saturdays, we wear pink. 🎀

Portland State Volleyball is hosting its Pink Out game Saturday at 5 p.m. against Northern Colorado at Viking Pavilion.

Tickets are free for PSU Students with an ID.

All other tickets can be purchased at GoViks.com/Tickets.

The Vikings will also celebrate head coach Michael Seemann’s 300th win as they begin the second half of their conference schedule.

We have three more craft sessions for fall term: October 27, November 10, and November 24! All materials will be provided, and craft selections will rotate throughout the term.

THANK YOU to our incredibly supportive creative community, donors, alumni, students, faculty, media and PSU friends who came out to help us celebrate the grand opening and ribbon cutting of the gorgeous new home of the Jordan Schnitzer School of Art + Art History + Design last week. It was *the place to be* that night! Every corner of the building buzzed with the school's signature creative energy, with music and performance art, hands-on art activities, interactive games, emerging tech demonstrations, food and drink and so much more.
