A great opportunity for our Purdue Sport Management students to gain firsthand experience at the 2026 World Food Championships in Indianapolis. Proud of their involvement and the opportunity to support our friends and colleagues in Hospitality and Tourism Management. Purdue was pleased to serve as an official partner, with Umulis, Gavin, and Mike Bobinski joining the fun as chili cook-off judges. Special thanks to Cecil for including our team. Another outstanding event for Indianapolis, and one we hope to welcome back in 2027 and beyond!

Meet Gavin Roell, a graduate student in Sport Management from Cincinnati, Ohio. He's serving as a GA for the John Purdue Club. Our own Dr. Colleen Dibble caught Gavin in action during Purdue’s football game. We love seeing our students gain valuable experience while contributing to Purdue Athletics!

In just one year, Purdue Sport Management has grown from 9 to 36 students - a 300% increase. As we expand our faculty, add a second location, and increase our course offerings, we're pleased to welcome Dr. Colleen Dibble as a Lecturer in West Lafayette.

We look forward to the experience and perspective she'll bring to our students and program.

Purdue Sport Management grad student Molly Wendel is CRUSHING IT! In less than eight months, she's added: two championships, WWE Raw, Indiana Pacers, , Purdue Athletics and other major events to her resume. Next up: She's here to work.

A graduate student in the Purdue University sport management program housed in the Department of Health and Kinesiology, Molly Wendel will work guest experience and media credentials at the Hulman Terrace Suites in the historic Indianapolis Motor Speedway on May 24.

Celebrating a VERY proud day for Purdue Sport Management as these two continue to set the tone, make history, and launch full-time careers. Congrats Lucca and Garrett!

During their year at Purdue, Garrett Pave and Lucca Agate combined coursework with hands-on experiences through internships and practicum opportunities. The experiences helped build professional connections and opened doors to future careers in the sport industry.
