As your newest neighbors, the Department of Housing is here to guide you through everything UL Lafayette has to offer. There’s more to college than courses. And the Department of Housing staff is here to make sure your campus lifestyle is as comfortable as it is memorable — whether we can help you navigate the application process, recommend a meal plan or simply lend a helping hand once you’re all moved in. Think of us as your friendly neighborhood landlord and your helpful legion of superintendents. You know, minus the angry notes and tendency to snoop around your garbage cans. We're here to help. ✨ Interested in living on campus for Spring 2027? Spring-Only Housing Applications open Nov. 9, 2026, at 8 a.m. Availability is limited due to current occupancy.

*For new residents only. Students who have already signed an academic-year housing contract do not need to complete a Spring-Only Housing Application. Current on-campus residents with an active academic-year contract are already covered for the spring semester.

The application will be available on the Housing Portal when it opens on November 9.

Ragin’ Cajuns, it’s time to show your Louisiana pride because Homecoming 2026 is officially underway! 🤟🌶️

From campus traditions and student activities to alumni celebrations and plenty of opportunities to come together as a Cajun community, there’s something happening all week long. And we’ll cap it all off with the Ragin’ Cajuns taking on Arkansas State at Our Lady of Lourdes Stadium! 🏈

CS Official Move-In Days: August 22 & 23
9 a.m.–4 p.m., by appointment only

A few important reminders before you head to campus:

- Check in at your assigned building. You do NOT need to go to the Health Sciences Campus to check in.
- No traffic changes for Continuing Student Move-In. Rex Street will remain open as normal. Enter Rex Street from E. St. Mary Boulevard.
- Arrive during your scheduled appointment time and have your move-in information ready.
