Welcome to Columbia Engineering's newest students!

Orientation week is officially a wrap! 🎉

We kicked off the Fall semester by welcoming new students to our Columbia Engineering community, starting off with Graduate Welcome Day. We also welcomed the inaugural cohort of our new Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence (MSAI) program.

The week ended with the Class of 2030's “Beanie” Ceremony, where transfer students joined the Academic Assembly for the first time.

This summer, Columbia University Facilities and Operations was hard at work renovating and restoring Low Plaza. Strengthening its foundation and replacing cracks and uneven surfaces with fresh materials allows the plaza to remain a beloved gathering space for decades to come.
