We recently shared a charity fundraiser in memory of one of our students, Sam Dodd. Along with other amazing fundraising efforts, our Dodd Klassiker football game raised a great amount but unfortunately there has been an issue with the GoFund me account that was used to collect the funds.

Anyone that donated via the online system will have had notice for a refund coming through and we're asking if possible and you still want to donate, please to re-donate through the link below so we can ensure the charity, Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY), gets the money that was fundraised for them.

These organisations carry out vital work, from providing life-saving heart screenings and raising awareness, to supporting local people and causes that make a real difference every day.

The money raised will help fund screening events and contribute to important local initiatives, giving young people the chance to detect hidden heart conditions early while also supporting those in need across our area.

Thank you ✨

We are incredibly proud to celebrate the success of our first Level 2 Teaching Assistant cohort, who achieved an outstanding 100% pass rate 😍

Following completion of the programme, 11 out of 14 learners have already progressed into employment within the education sector or moved on to university, with many securing roles in local schools and education settings. In addition, 9 of the 14 have also progressed onto further study, including enrolment on our Level 3 Teaching Assistant Work Based Diploma.

Our learners have gone on to secure positions across a range of local education providers, including Sandylands Primary School, Mossgate Primary School, Slyne Primary School, The Cathedral Catholic Primary School, Bleasdale School and Lancaster & Morecambe College.

The positive feedback from learners really reflects the impact of the programme".

"I really enjoyed the course and appreciated all the support from Amy.”

"I loved the course and found the support throughout was brilliant. I wouldn't change anything with how the course was run."

We would like to thank REED and Veritas Education for their support in helping our learners secure valuable employment opportunities and long-term school placements.

This is a fantastic achievement for our first cohort and a true testament to the hard work, dedication, and commitment they have demonstrated throughout the programme.

Congratulations to all of our learners on this remarkable success. We are excited to see where your careers and learning journeys take you next!

We are now looking forward to welcoming our next cohort in September, who will begin their journey with the 5-week Level 1 Award before progressing onto the Level 2 Teaching Assistant programme, just as this successful group did. See you soon!
