We are thrilled to welcome acclaimed choreographer, dancer, and educator Joshua L. Ishmon to the Illinois State University Dance Program as our Fall 2026 Guest Artist in Residence from September 13th–19th! 🙌🏽🔥
Open to all students, this residency offers an incredible opportunity to take masterclasses and audition for Joshua’s work!

•Sunday, Sept 13th Registration @ 5:30 PM | Auditions @ 6:00 PM
⚠️ Rehearsals will start immediately after auditions on Sunday evening!
•Monday, Sept 14th Ballet (2–3:30 PM) | Rehearsal (5:30–10 PM)
•Tuesday, Sept 15th Modern (10–11:40 AM) | Rehearsal (5:30–10 PM)
•Wednesday, Sept 16th Ballet (2–3:30 PM) | Rehearsal (5:30–10 PM)
•Thursday, Sept 17th Ballet (10–11:40 AM) | Rehearsal (5:30–10 PM)
•Friday, Sept 18th DA Class (10–11:40 AM) | Rehearsal (2:30–10 PM)
•Saturday, Sept 19th Rehearsal (10 AM–4 PM)
